Clickie is a handy, small and simple tool that will add 2 new features to the context menu (right click) of Windows Explorer:
￭ Copy Path Name: Copies the path of the selected folder or file to the clipboard (as text). You can then paste it wherever you need it. Some software need the name and path of a file and do not provide any way to browse. In such a case, Clickie becomes very useful and will save you a lot of time.
This feature now works when several files are selected.
￭ Open MS-DOS Prompt: Opens a DOS window in the selected directory. Using Clickie, you don’t need to crawl to the directory you want to work in.

To uninstall Clickie, follow the instructions below:

Directory Listings is a useful tool that displays the contents of a folder, including the name and the contents of the folders and sub-folders. The program displays the contents of a folder in three levels: list, detail and properties. The program can search for a file in the specified folder.

Clickie started as the need to have a way of browsing a directory tree.

If something on a web site is not working, often our first move is to click the “back” button on the browser and hope it will bring us back to the right page. Now, instead of looking at the browser interface, we have to look at the web site’s displayable format (HTML, for example). If you have a lot of web pages or a site you frequent often, this can be extremely time consuming.

I created Clickie to make this process easier.

With Clickie, you can select a directory and Open a DOS window on it.

Because Clickie opens a DOS window, you no longer need to crawl to the target directory.

How to install libreadline6 (in Catalina)?

I want to use command line editor rovnscript. I already have the rovnscript-0.3.4-osx-10.8.1.tgz installed. The rovnscript package will not let you use the “rovnscript-config” tool. This tool requires libreadline6. I believe it can be found in the standard Mac OSX install but I do not know how to install it. I am sure it’s a simple step, but I have never done any Mac OSX programming before. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

What’s New in the?

This tool has been created and developed by me, Aristide Le Manach. It is similar to a previous tool I had created. I decided to rework that tool, since my free time is limited to programming and I prefer to devote it to that rather than to a commercial project.
What’s new:
1) Added directory editing mode: you don’t need to edit the path. The tool will add the path to the command line.
2) Added path information in the DOS prompt.
3) The option to ask to “create new directory” is now enabled by default.
If your mouse does not have a right click option, you can either map the control+c to open a DOS prompt, or you can use the command Prompt.C.

1) First version. It is a beta version.
2) Released under GPL.
3) Uses FindFirstFile, GetFileInformationByHandle and GetFileAttributesEx instead of GetDriveType and GetShortPathName.
